Flying Pickets


The group was first formed in 1982 by members of the 7:84 Theatre group. They enjoyed a cappella singing so much that they started to work around the pubs and clubs of London, at a time when nobody else in the UK was performing pop/rock based a cappella, and found immediate success. Their 15 minutes of fame came when "Only You" hit the British charts. Today, the Pickets regularly tour Europe doing a hundred shows a year at small clubs, discos, Cultural Centers as well as large theatres.
