    Alexandria Harmonizers


    The Alexandria Harmonizers is a mens barbershop show chorus with over 200 members and a 50+ year tradition. The chorus was established on June 29, 1948, when the Alexandria, Virginia Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society received the 552nd charter granted by the Society. There are now 800 chapters in the U.S. and Canada, as well as affiliates around the world.

    The Harmonizers have won the International Chorus Championship four times (4 gold medals) and been finalists 13 other times, including 11 silver & bronze medals. Among other notable appearances, the chorus has performed for the U.S. Supreme Court, at the White House, Carnegie Hall, Wolf Trap, and five times at the Kennedy Center Honors.
