The Blenders got their start in the Academy Award-winning Midwestern town of Fargo, ND, where two of them worked as dancers. The Blenders spent 11 years touring the U.S. with their unique style of a cappella- based music. They covered 48 states and opened for such acts as Jay Leno, Howie Mandel, Blues Traveler, Lou Rauls, The Righteous Brothers and many more. The Blenders appeared on The Arsenio Hall Show, The Today Show National Public Radio, and hundreds of television and radio appearances all over. They were signed to Universal Music, where their (accompanied) single “McDonald’s Girl” made it to the charts in Europe. Although they "semi-retired" in 2001, since then they have released two *very* successful holiday albums. |
