Cantus-Music for Men's Voices Choral Series

These pieces come to us via the male ensemble Cantus. They are songs that are regularly included in their performance repertoire, now made available by Neil A. Kjos Music. Pieces vary in difficulty, character and exact voicing, but all are scored for a small men's ensemble like Cantus.

Founded in 1995 at St. Olaf College, Cantus is a twelve-member professional male vocal ensemble which is fast becoming one of the most sought-after groups in the country. Its mission is two-fold. As a performing ensemble, Cantus sings challenging and diverse choral literature that spans all musical periods and genres. As a proponent of music education, Cantus actively promotes male singing by conducting workshops, performing at festivals, and providing new music for male choral groups.
