Four Voices


In 1993, when Bradley High School students Chad and Brandon Guyton attended a Harmony Explosion presentation, they had no idea what lay ahead. A few years later, they recruited two fellow Lee University musicians, Lester Rector and Jayson VanHook, to form Four Voices - as in four of the Voices of Lee, a 16-member vocal orchestra group at Lee University. They went on to enter and win the 1996 MBNA Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Contest in Salt Lake City, and in 2002 became the first college champion quartet to go "all the way" and win the gold medal at the SPEBSQSA Internationals.
