Jay Althouse Arrangements
Jay Althouse is a musical composer, arranger, editor, and author with Alfred Publishing Company, Inc. Founded in New York in 1922, Alfred Publishing Company is the world's largest educational music publisher. As one of Alfred's impressive array of composers, Mr. Althouse has a total of more than five hundred works in print with Alfred, as well as with other publishers, for choirs of all levels. His book, Copyright: The Complete Guide for Music Educators, has been in print continuously since 1984, and is recognized as the definitive sourcebook on the subject of copyright for music educators. Mr. Althouse has cowritten several musicals, songbooks, and cantatas with his wife, Sally K. Albrecht, and has also compiled and arranged a number of highly regarded vocal solo collections.
