"Our main areas of expertise and interest are traditional polyphonic singing styles and community singing traditions, including:

* Early and contemporary shape-note and New England singing school compositions
* Traditional village and modern arranged music from the Balkans (Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Albania)
* Folk and liturgical music from the Caucasus Republic of Georgia
* Corsican music
* Medieval, Renaissance and early Baroque music
* West African and South African music

Although each of our choruses is unique, they share a hearty, full-throated straight-toned singing style, unorthodox voicing and unusual instrumentation. Many of our groups feature collaborations of teenage and adult singers, with an emphasis on teaching and community participation. We have a performance style that is professional yet distinctly informal, and our programs are always eclectic and adventurous."
