Our Own Barbershop Tag


For the 2005 convention of the Barbershop Harmony Society, founder Don Gooding wrote a tag in order to help "get the word out" about our name change. A tag, if you're not a barbershopper, is the dramatic ending of a song, often with great chord changes. Barbershoppers sing just the tags sometimes, to their great enjoyment, and the occasional puzzlement of those who've never done it. Many thanks to David Briner for "making it sound right."
