The House Jacks

The House Jacks were born from the collegiate a cappella scene with one goal in mind: to be the first rock band without instruments. Original tunes, virtuosic arrangements, a driving vocal rhythm section, and a trio of versatile tenors combine to create one of contemporary a cappella's most unique and influential sounds. They flirted with big-time fame when Tommy Boy Records funded what became Funkwich (then the label got confused about this Akapulla thang). The group continues to write great original tunes and tour the globe, while members Deke Sharon and Wes Carroll help drive the growth of the "a cappella movement" through their individual efforts as arrangers and educators.
