Song List and Description/Translation: 1. Ave Maria -Cattini-2. Shima-Uta, An Island Song - A contemporary song for the Okinawa islands in Japan, which has the taste of Okinawa's native folk songs. The Okinawa natives have a special feeling about their culture. The word Shima refers to the Okinawa islands, compared to Japan main islands. In historical passages they have feelings similar to that of minorities towards mainland Japan. These days, Okinawan songs have become very popular with many generations of Japanese. 3.
