Pleading Saviour - from Gloryland: Anonymous 4 (2-Part Treble) - PRINTED SHEET MUSIC
Be the first to review this product
The history of this song is somewhat obscure. The earliest appearance we have found for text and tune is the 1832 edition of the Christian Lyre, but in that tunebook, they do appear separately! The text is set to a tune called Greenville, and the tune Pleading Saviour sets a different text altogether. Sometime later in the 19th century, tune and text did eventually find each other. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
