From the first self-assured notes to the final ringing chord, this album is a moving and inspirational tribute to America. This wonderful collection of "Americana" is sung by the Liberty Singers and arranged and directed by the very talented Derric Johnson. All the songs are performed very musically by this wonderful group of singers, and the fantastic arrangements made that an easy task. Notables are "The Star Spangled Banner" with its jazzy feel, "Shenandoah," a favorite around the world, and "Battle Hymn Of The Republic," just because the baritone soloist has an amazing voice and sings it so dramatically. This album will bring a tear to your eye.
