The Bubs are back again, this time with a different collection of tracks than on their earlier recordings. There are no major rock/pop/R&B anthems on this album, but some serious top-notch gold-mining from the pop vaults - like opening track "Magical Mystery Tour," Aerosmith's "Livin' on the Edge," and Styx' "Come Sail Away." 90's pop gets its turn too, with Cranberries' "Linger," and this decade gets a nod with Gnarles Barkley's "Smiley Faces," and Guster's "Ruby Falls." A different song selection, yes, but the same amazing quality singing and production value (courtesy of Bill Hare and Michael Romanowski, with some great production and engineer work by Ed Boyer). The Bubs never do disappoint - but they may just be growing up a little...
