The 37 tracks available here contain some of the group's favorite rounds, quodlibets and others. Many are in the collection, "Rounds Galore" by Sol "Roundman" Weber. OF SPECIAL INTEREST IS THE INTERVIEW WITH PETE SEEGER ON DISC 2, TRACK 1 - AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME AS A SEPARATE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ITEM FOR ONLY $5.00 !
In the 20-minute interview Pete talks about and sings "Joy and Temperance," a round his family sang, sings rounds his father and his father's contemporaries composed, talks about the early days of The Weavers, and gives us the history of "Tzena, Tazena, Tzena, Tzena." Sometimes he sings a-cappella, and he also accompanies himself on his banjo.
