"Side by Side" is a new (as of June, 2007) double-CD re-release of the first and second Just 4 Kicks CDs. "Just 4 Kicks," their debut CD, was released in 1997, (on Barney McClure's MNOP Records), and "All in Good Time," the follow-up CD, was released in 2000 on John Neal's Primarily A Cappella Records. The first CD was pretty much "live in the studio;" the second CD was more of a studio production effort.

They've released both CDs together for the first time, newly remastered and repackaged, but still with the same great, classic J4K tunes and performances! They've also included a couple of bonus J4K tracks for your listening pleasure: a lovely version of the Thad Jones Christmas classic entitled "A Child is Born," originally recorded for a 1999 PAC Christmas compilation, and a newly-recorded, lively version of the tune "Side by Side."
