"The NYV put together a wonderful and innovative mix of a cappella, combo, and full ensemble selections. From the amazing scat and vocal agility of "Jackie" to the haunting, mellow tone of "For All We Know" this CD covers every mood for "A day like this." This CD is an essential for anyone who loves jazz. However, the refreshing charts "Stone Soul Picnic" and "Don't you worry bout a thing" will thrill even the least musical of ears. Its a worth while purchase and will never leave your CD player. "
