In one 15-song CD, this LA-based quartet shows why they won the 1998 Harmony Sweepstakes. Even the cuts that aren't exactly contestable barbershop ("Yakko's World," "Sing, Sing, Sing") still have the same smoooooooth sound and ringing chords that are as good as gold to a barbershop fan. For the permanent children among us, they also include a wonderful version of "Pure Imagination" (from Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) and "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch." A fun album!
