Sometimes, songwriters who have produced originals for a cappella groups want to hear their musical ideas fully instrumented at least once. Richard Greene has been writing for The Bobs for a couple decades, and here he shows his work in a variety of settings. Two are Bobs songs: "Too Cool To Care" with beatnik jazz chaos, and a trippy remix of The Beatles' "Helter Skelter" with the original Bobs supplemented by tracks and sax. Current Bob Joe Finetti contributes trombone licks on "Let's Go Wild," and The House Jacks' first VP Andrew Chaikin percusses on three tracks, including Jobim's "The Waters of March." Definitely a CD that will appeal to hard-core fans of The Bobs! (33:59 2003)
