Voice Male: Six (CD)
The group describes this as their "Primer" (after Rockapella's similar effort a few years back). They make that comparison because 10 of the 14 songs on the CD are from previous albums, and it was recorded (mostly) live in the studio. It's a way for fans of their last album "Hooked" to get a peek at what the group's been doing for the past 6 years - hence, the title of the album. Re-recorded a cappella favorites like "Sam, You Made the Pants Too Long" and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" stand up very well next to pop hits "Pride (In the Name of Love)," "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday." Doo-wop gets a nod with "In the Still of the Night". Song List:
