Italy's Neri Per Caso has long been one of my favorite groups that we have carried - period. It's such a shame that they haven't released anything (okay, anything that we can get reliable supplies of in the U.S., that is) in a while. But we were able to get copies at least once of this "Best of" album from 2002, and I am so glad we did!

This sextet is smooth as a good latte, as sexy as a Lambourghini, and as fulfilling as a good dish of manicotti. Their joy-tinged style mixes the best of contemporary pop with reggae influences - think Enrique Iglesias meets Shaggy - and wraps it all up in a silky-smooth production package that is sure to please.

Standouts on this CD (some of which have been released before) are: "Sentimento Pentimento" (for its reggae/dance hall vibe); "Quando" for the romantic jazz factor; and perhaps my favorite a cappella track EVER "Quello Che Vuoi." I knew this one by heart before I even KNEW what they were saying! Check out the sound files for yourself, and see why these guys have captured the hearts of a cappella fans around the globe!
