This first Bobs recording with Amy Englehart is quintessential Bobs - diverse, funny original songs about unusual subjects: "Let's Adopt A Highway," "Fluffy's Master Plan for World Domination." There's a song about private parts, "She Made Me Name You Earl," and "Loyal Officer" about a mall security guard. Longtime fans will rejoice that "Barber Lips" is finally recorded along with Ellington's "Caravan." Four-song "Turtle Cycle" (about a pet turtle) features Joe Finetti on trombone, while "I Believe In Love" has him on drums, Richard Greene on keyboards and bass plus a guest guitarist! Extra vocals come from Toxin Michelle Mailhot, lyrical help from Da Vinci's Notebook's Paul Sabourin, and mixing from spiralmouth's Gabe Rutman.(48:54 2000)
