Hildegard's Apothecary, a setting of texts by the German 12th centruy nun Hildegard von Bingen, was commissioned by Dale Jergenson for the Cantori Domino singers of Santa Monica, CA in 2007. The texts are an often funny mixture of folk wisdom, medieval medicine, and superstition. This collection is comprised of three parts; Hildegard's Rose, Hildegard's Lavender, Hildegard's Nutmeg.
