This fun warm-up CD kit is definitely a departure from the others we've seen. It includes a CD, with very succinct (as in less than a minute each) "lessons" followed by accompanied exercises that let you practice the concepts learned. The CD plays them through twice - once with a vocalist singing them with the accompaniment (20 minutes), and then again with accompaniment ONLY (20 minutes).

The musical examples are complete songs, incorporating traditional (and not-so-traditional) vocal excersises, demonstrating techniques like legato vs. staccato, humming into "the mask," singing octaves and more. Each exercise is done in a different style of music, which adds to the variety and fun of this collection.

The kit also includes a handy booklet with all the vocal excercise lines written out. AND you get a bumper sticker to prove to the world that you're "Not Crazy, I'm Vocalizing!" A great tool to enhance any vocal training program!
