This 10-member Italian group came to our attention just before Christmas 2001, and we're sorry we didn't know about them before! With imaginative arrangements and great production, this eight-song CD is a total joy! The album opens with a jammin' "White Christmas" (killer bass and horn riffs, sexy soprano solo, good vocal percussion), followed by "Ea Supernova" in Italian (with a cool VP break by all members in the middle). Loungy "Jingle Bells" (complete with vocal trumpet break and Woody Woodpecker imitation) in English is a fun romp. "Stella Del Jazz" shows just how imaginative these guys can be, with trippy vocal improvisation and grooves to sink your ears into. Surrealistic "Jerusalem" is a trippy tone poem meant to evoke visions of that fabled city, with vocal sound effects like drones, whistling wind, andSong List:
