"Father Alexander Men was an Orthodox Christian priest, theologian, biblical scholar, preacher and writer, who became a leading figure and influence in Russian religious life before his assissination in 1990. This new work by Alexander Levine sets some of his most resonant prayers and meditations to music, brought to life by the professional chamber choir Tenebrae.

This CD includes a 24-page booklet with extensive notes, lyrics in Russian with English translations, and photos of the performers.
