If the title of this CD makes you think of summer days lounging on the lawn, wait 'til you hear this Denmark sextet's sound! You can almost smell that just-cut freshness in their great blend, positive energy and soulful treatment of covers and originals alike. Mariah Carey's "Dreamlover" is so danceable it hurts. Sting's "Englishman in New York" is squeaky clean with some great improv for added freshness. Those individual little touches are sprinkled liberally throughout the album, breathing new life into songs so often done. The Bonnie Raitt ballad "I Can't Make You Love Me" is like good hot caramel - smooth and amazingly tasty. Sade's "Smooth Operator" is all that and more.
This group has a great balanced sound - solid bottom, effective yet understated vocal percussion, great tone and control in the upper voices.
