This arrangement of Rosa Amarela combines two well-know Brazilian folk songs: 'Rosa Amarela' and 'A Linda Roda Juvenil.' Both tunes are called cantigas de roda (leterally, "songs of circle") because they are usually sung in a roda infantil. The roda infantil is a very simple game in which the participants form a circle and move around singing and moving to the music.
