This mixed fivesome from Montreal is extremely diverse on this, their debut recording. They can really rock, but are equally credible on a madrigal. With most of the songs in French, three of 20 are in English, including an interesting medley blending "Stand By Me" and Sting's pop hit to form "Don't Stand By So Close To Me." This recording has a heaping dollop of novelty songs that are enjoyable even to those who don't speak French. (1993 47:37)
