OK, so how can we be unbiased about a CD that features MAC founder Don Gooding, former MAC Customer Service Manager Amy Briggs and Office Manager Jay Emlen? We can't be... The 11-member mixed ensemble sings many a cappella standards, a bunch of which are also available from the Contemporary A Cappella Songbook Series - "Blue Moon," "Longest Time" (with Don and Jay), and "Good Lovin'" which is one of Amy's two terrific solos. Amy also tears up "Ain't Misbehavin'," which may be the only a cappella track ever to feature tap dancing! Really! The album concludes with Don singing all the parts (up to 13 at a time!) on a 'Not-So-Hidden Track Egopella Mix' of a blues medley called "Let It Roll." So if you've ever wondered what the singers of Mainely A Cappella actually sound like... here's your chance! (35:10 -2001)
