This CD contains seven cuts; six are covers from a very mixed bag: from Spike Jones' "I Was a Teenage Brain Surgeon," to Cream's "White Room," all in the quirky, tongue-in-cheek and inventive style that has garnered the group a tremendous following. However, it is the CD's seventh piece, a vocal arrangement of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," that is a true tour de force, even for this amazing group. The performance is over 17 minutes long and never flags. The guest pianist for their Rhapsody is Bob Malone, himself a national treasure. (Is it a coincidence that his name is Bob?) This CD also features a new tenor, Dan Schumacher (formerly of Kickshaw). Don't be blue - order this CD now! (35:56 2005)

"This one is simply great! There are no adequate words to describe just how wonderful this CD is, but after listening to it once I decided, I must order another one to give to Mom, cos she absolutely must have it! Their rendition of "Rhapsody in Blue" is stunning and hilarious all at once, and the covers show the usual Bobs flair. Amy is particularly prominent on this CD, and she has never sounded better. And at last, an album with Dan 'Bob' Schumacher, who truly completes the group. I hope we get lots more recordings from this particular line up, cos I happen to think they are better than they have ever been."
