This live performance of the Switzerland-based six man group A-Live was recorded in Zurich in October 2004. A truly international group, there are members from Switzerland, Italy, Israel and - would you believe - Maine? (We're kind of partial to people from Maine.) We're also partial to groups that perform really well live. But, with all partiality aside, this is an excellent CD. Do you like rock n' roll? Got it. Beatboxing? Got it. Jazz? Check. Opera?..Well you get the idea. There are 23 tracks on the CD and every one of them has something of interest on it. In their a cappella anthem "We Are a-live" they sing, "We are a-live and we use our voices. Any instruments are taboo. That's what we do and really like it, And we hope you love it too". We do.
