While the album is more accompanied (10 of 14) and secular than earlier albums, there is plenty of the close, imaginative harmony fans look for. The slow swing a cappella "MyFriend" with Ray Charles wailing the lead and Take 6 harmonizing as only they can is alone worth the price of admission. They bop a cappella on "I've Got Life," sing lusciously unaccompanied on "Lullaby." Notable guests on R&B accompanied tunes are Stevie Wonder and rapping Queen Latifah. (50:46 1994)
