Both the material and performances on these 10 tracks embody a traditional gospel sound - albeit with the trademark contemporary flair of The Acappella Company. We especially liked the basso profundo solo on "Standing On the Solid Rock," the wailing chorus behind the lead on "Steppin' On A Cloud," and the modern spiritual feel of "Til He Comes." Well done, and broadly appealing! (30:50 1997)
