Some nice three-part singing on this Acappella Company release, all byyoung people (with the exception of an occasional adult-added bass line).The lyrics reflect the character of the youngsters who are singing, as inthe opening track "Let's Sing Praises," where the glories of going to themall, watching movies and eating pizza are extolled. Sweet solos areinterspersed with full-choir refrains in these easily learned,kid-friendly tunes, as on "I Will Rise Up," the calypso "Worship andHonor" and the simple but irresistible "God Made Man." The kids also givea grown-up performance in the maturely-arranged "You Are." These upbeat,positive songs are presented once with both solo and chorus, then againwith just the background, to give your favorite young soloists a chance toshine! (50:51 1996)
