While the singers have changed over the years, Acappella has consistently delivered their Christian message with innovative close harmony. This 1997 release is rich in harmony, with waves of sound flowing one after another in "He's Gonna Let You Know," the power ballad title tune - in fact, the chords ring throughout the recording. Many of the new, original songs are infused with infectious pop rhythms - "House of Praise," "Get to the Point," and more. Among the stories told by the songs is the feelings of a modern evangelist in "And They Praised God," and the simple wish to bring back love on welling "Let There Be Love." The group makes sophisticated use of vocal percussion and overdubbing, but happily does not use the processed, sampled "voice" snippets found in some other Acappella Company recordings. (38:54 1997)
