Now based in Waco, Texas, this Afro-Christian men's ensemble knits together their struggle, and the struggle of their people in Zambia, along with their faith on this CD. The arrangements and harmonies are as straightforward as their messages in "There Is A Way" and "It Is Well With My Soul." Music director Aswell Banda arranged their native songs (such as opener "Udzimvere Weka") and others, and penned several originals including "Standing On A Mountain" and "God Almighty." It all comes together in his moving original (co-written with two others) "In This World" with lyrics "In this world lots of people are facing problems. Fighting and starvation, children losing parents…The only place for refuge is through Jesus Christ." (40:29 2005)
