Gaither Vocal Band A Cappella (CD)

This four man gospel "vocal band" is tight, slick and professional, as you'd expect from a group that's been entertaining gospel audiences for as long as these guys have. The CD is enhanced with a photo album and other features most of which connect one to Gaithernet.com, a very well produced web site. They open with a foot stompin' rendition of "Low Down Chariot". "Leave It There/What A Friend We Have in Jesus" starts with an infectious bass line, adds some catchy rhythmic harmony and then finally settles in with an amazing tenor solo. These guys are used to singing accompanied by instruments but they have no trouble at all making the transition to a cappella. The is a great gospel CD. (45:47 2003)
