This is an arrangement by Chilcott and Henry Bishop of the very familiar song with the "no place like home" lyric written by John Howard Payne. (Interesting note: Payne, born in the USA in 1791, never knew what it was to have a home after the death of both of his parents at a very young age. Payne died in Tunis, Africa in 1852, where he was serving as American consul. Three decades after his death he was reinterred in Washington, DC., where the benediction of the ceremony was the blending of a thousand voices and instruments in the immortal melody of " Home, Sweet Home.") There is divisi in this arrangement. The music consists of only two pages.
