Manhattan Tranfer is one of the best vocal jazz groups around, and they prove it time and again on recordings and live. They continue that tradition with this live recording from a 1983 concert in Tokyo, Japan. They are usually accompanied here, with the exception being an incredible version of "Foreign Affair." All songs on this are absolute classics. Pick this one up. Many of these songs are also contained in their Songbook. (Songbook) (62:58 1996)
