This is *not* an a cappella (piano accompaniment part is included) arrangement, but it *does* swing! Kirby gives us some sweet scat syllables and jazzy chords (with some divisi) to give some authenticity to this accessible arrangement. The middle section gets kind of confusing to read, with three separate parts going on and lots of repeats, but when put together, it SOUNDS really great! The baritone part doesn't go below an F below middle C, and goes up to an E-flat above middle C. Sopranos get up to an A-flat, though, which might be a little out of reach for some high school singers, and definitely for middle schoolers. Not for a beginning group, in any case.
