Musaic is a San Francisco based all male a cappella vocal ensemble. This CD contains a nice variety of spirituals, folk songs and short classical pieces. There is no question that there are some excellent voices in this group. These men obviously take their craft very seriously. There is a very sensitive interpretation of "Deep River" arranged by Roy Ringwald. They do a great job on a very tough Gene Puerling arrangement of "Cockles and Mussells". There is nothing flashy or over produced on this CD, just good solid singing. (43:03 2003)
