"Down Beat (p.70) - "Haden utilizes her octaves-spanning vocal range and uncanny mimicking ability to simulate all of the instruments and psychedelic sound effects on The Who's original 1967 recording..."

All tracks are done by Petra herself on a Tascam-488 8-Track recorder. Producer Mike Watt gave Petra the recorder, along with a tape with the original Who album on one side of the tape and told her to "sing along with the record until she filled the other seven tracks up." This interesting, original and surprising album is the result.
