Four Freshmen, The: Voices in Latin/Freshmen Year
Be the first to review this product
Classic is the correct description for this collection. The album begins with the Freshmen's answer to the bossa nova craze, "Voices In Latin." With wonderful harmony and a fantastic rhythmic quality, this part of the compilation will keep your toes a tappin'. Just when you think it couldn't get better, the second album kicks in with harmony-ridden versions of some great jazz and pop songs. Some of the best tracks are a great bossa nova "What's New" and a beautiful "Fools Rush In." The highlight here, however, is when the they put away the instruments and harmonize 'a cappella' to Bob Troup's "Their Hearts Were Full of Spring." All in all, a great collection for old and new fans alike. (67:48 1999)
