This recording was produced by The Four Freshmen Society, an organization that has been supporting the group for many years. The group at this concert consists of Bob Ferreira, Vince Johnson, Brian Eichenberger and Curtis Calderon - all very fine singers and instrumentalists. And the last six tracks are performed not just by the fab four, but also with the backing of the Concertgebouw Jazz Orchestra - fabulous for instrumental jazz fans! Along with their obligatory standards ("Day By Day," "Poinciana" etc.) the group includes "Indian Summer," full of luscious a cappella interludes. Great stuff! (45:20 2005)
