This recording features "folk hymns." Most of the pieces were arranged by NLC director Larry L. Fleming. They include the accompanied, ambitious "Folk Hymn Suite" that opens the recording (all others are a cappella). Fleming's accessible "Humble Service" and vibrant "Lord Of The Dance" help round out the program. Also included is familiar "I Am The Rose Of Sharon" by Billings, and White's "The Morning Trumpet." All are ably performed by this world class chorus. (40:36)
