Buffalo Bills & the Chordettes: Barbershop Harmony Time
Be the first to review this product
The Buffalo Bills are most famous for their appearance years ago in "The Music Man." On this Sony Music release they share the limelight with a female quartet, The Chordettes. The Bills are wonderful on "Your Eyes Have Told Me So," "As Time Goes By," Hammerstein and Kern's "Why Do I Love You," and they swing with banjo accompaniment on another two numbers. The Chordettes ring Irving Berlin's "They Say It's Wonderful," sing the classic "Angry," and even accompany Arthur Godfrey's baritone on "Down By the Old Mill Stream." (24:10 1994)
