One key to why this is such a fine recording is the deep "bass-in" goin' on - bass Brett Littlefield has a rich, resonant tone. Of course, the rest of this championship quartet is marvelous as well, as are the arrangements (including four by David Wright). Favorites include "Creole Cutie," gorgeous ballad "Stars Fell On Alabama," Four Freshman-esque "ItNever Occurred To Me," and the titlesong. This album certainly represents the very best of barbershop today. (39:47 1997)
