The Acappella Company gives us this new songbook and CD, including 25 contemporary praise and worship songs, most using shape-note notation. These songs are meant to be sung by anyone and used during the worship service. The song selection includes favorites like the title track "Awesome God," "Firm Foundation," "Open My Heart" and "Covenant of Love." All songs are recorded on the 2-CD set - one CD is a listening CD with a studio performance of each track; the 2nd CD is a bonus learning CD, where two parts are isolated on each channel when the balance selector is turned to one side or the other (tenor/soprano and alto/bass). This is a great tool to get your congregation singing!

"It sounds just like the way we sing acapella in our services in the Churches of Christ; I agree it is a wonderful teaching tool - just about anybody can learn to sing acapella with this music. It's what got me started loving acapella."
