This CD is as remarkable as this champion women's quartet that persisted even though they live on two continents - North America and Europe! The 2003 champions (they won in late 2002) assembled a half-live, half studio album that reflects the broad range of their exceptional musicality. One of the highlights of the live section is their contest parody performance of "The Moment I Saw Your Eyes," noting how very often Joe Liles' arrangement has made it to the contest stage. You'll also hear "Don't Worry, Be Happy" as a country tune (a la The Blenders) from their winning performance in Nashville. Among the luscious studio tracks are "Mistakes," Garth Brooks' "It's Your Song," and even another Blenders arrangement, "You Can't Do That." Well, Swinglish Mix certainly can do it! (35:05 2003)
