After singing together for over 10 years, the four talented women of Rumors, who were the 1999 International Sweet Adelines Quartet Champions, have developed an a cappella style that delights barbershop lovers as well as general audiences. Their arrangement selections are superb. Their liner notes on this recording acknowledge Anna-Maria Nystom from Sweden as their premier arranger "who has the unique ability to make four voices sound like an orchestra." Most of the cuts on this CD are covers of contemporary favorites recorded by Sting, Carole King and the like. Their rendition of 'Over the Rainbow' is almost hymnlike. With such a combination of talents, this CD can only be a winner! (37:55 2005)
